Miller Named WGCA All-American Scholar
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's golfer Annika Miller was named an all-American scholar-athlete by the Women's Golf Coaches' Association. Miller is one of 1,497 collegiate women's golfers recognized by the WGCA. To be eligible for all-American scholar status, the student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and play in 50 percent of the team's rounds during the season.
US Army Receives GE T901 Engines for Black Hawk Trials
The US Army has received two T901 engines from General Electric (GE) Aerospace for integration and testing aboard its UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. The engines were delivered to Sikorsky’s facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, as part of the country’s Improved Turbine Engine Program, which aims to develop a more durable, fuel-efficient engine for the army’s Black Hawks and Apaches.
