On June 27, I had the pleasure of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony in Sarasota for the new offices of Suncoast Waterkeeper and 10 other leading non-profit organizations that are joining forces as a resilience incubator to ramp up their efforts to bring services to Sarasota and Manatee County. Palmetto Pastor Faces Additional Child Sex Abuse/Porn Charges
PALMETTO — Palmetto pastor Jonathan Elwing faces additional child sexual abuse and child porn charges in an ongoing investigation by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Elwing, 43, was charged with two counts of capital sexual battery, six counts of production of child sexual abuse material, and six counts of child porn possession. He was previously arrested Jon une 21 and charged with possession of child porn.
