UM Health-Sparrow released its quarter one (Q1) report on drug-related deaths in seven counties, including Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, Isabella, Livingston, and Shiawassee, in which it serves as medical examiner.

Holly Hook told lawmakers earlier this year she feels trapped by rising rents. While testifying before the Housing and Human Services Committee in February, Hook said her lot rent at a Swartz Creek mobile home park has more than doubled in the past six years.
