USPS holds Career Fairs in six cities

NORTH DAKOTA ( KXNET ) — The United States Postal Service is hosting a career fair this weekend.

According to a news release, USPS offers competitive wages for entry-level positions like letter carriers, rural route carriers, mail handlers, mail processing clerks, and retail clerks. Benefits include multiple health and life insurance choices, pension benefits and a Thrift Savings Plan program, and vacation and sick leave.

The job fairs are being hosted at six locations on Saturday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are five entry-level positions available: city carrier, city carrier assistant, postal support employees, rural carrier associate, and assistant rural carrier.

The locations to go to for the job fairs are as follows:

Bismarck (220 E Rosser Ave)
Devils Lake (502 3rd St NE)
Dickinson (15 1st St E)
Mandan (300 Collins Ave)
Minot (117 5th Ave SW)
Williston (120 E Broadway)

You must be 18 years old, be able to pass a criminal background investigation, and be available to work weekends and holidays.
