NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -Bruce: More storms around through mid and late week; keep the umbrellas nearby. There will be dry periods in the morning but once we get some daytime heating before noon through the mid afternoon we will see storms pop up and move across the area. If storms move quickly it will help mitigate the flood risk, but street flooding and lightning will be the main threats.

NOPD searches for robbery suspect
NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Police are asking for the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for simple robbery and attempted robbery. Wanted is Carey Lewis Tanks. According to investigators, Tanks committed the crime of simple robbery at a business in the 7500 block of Bullard Avenue on July 16 and committed an attempted simple robbery at a business in the 6300 block of Chef Menteur Highway on July 11, 2024.
