MANHATTAN ( KSNT ) – Former K-State offensive lineman Hayden Gillum has the opportunity to extend his professional career.

Gillum was taken with the second pick in the fifth round (No. 34 overall) of the 2024 UFL College Draft.

The former Wildcat had previously accepted an invite to the Chicago Bears’ rookie minicamp.

Gillum started as a walk-on in Manhattan, but finished as a team captain as a senior. He lined up as the starting center in all 27 games his final two seasons.

The UFL College Draft was open to players that were eligible, but not selected, in the 2024 NFL Draft.
