A Manhattan man died Sunday after a one-vehicle crash on Interstate Highway 35 in Missouri near the Iowa border.

Victor Bedros, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while three others in the car were seriously injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 5 p.m. about seven miles north of Eagleville, Missouri.

The Kia Sorento, driven by 65-year-old Karam J. Bedros of Woodbury, Minnesota, was heading north on the highway when it went off the west side of the road into the median. The car hit an emergency crossover, which sent it airborne. Upon landing, it rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop on its roof.

An ambulance took Karam Bedros and passenger Carla E. Bedros, 59, of Woodbury, Minnesota, to Harrison County Community Hospital. Another ambulance took Karam Bedros to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

The other passenger, 27-year-old Reena Bedros of Woodbury, Minnesota, went by ambulance to Lamoni Hospital before being life-flighted to Mercy Hospital.

Victor Bedros was taken to Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany, Missouri.
