    Motorcyclist loses control, dies in Manhattan crash

    A 25-year-old man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into two parked cars on an upper Manhattan street, police said Saturday.

    Manuel Estevez-Tapia was heading north on Fort George Ave. near Audubon Ave. in Washington Heights at about 9:45 p.m. Friday when he zipped around a hairpin turn along Highbridge Park .

    As he tried to navigate the road, he lost control of his KTM motorcycle , which slammed into an empty blue Ford Ecolonine van parked on the street.

    The motorcycle struck the van and kept on going, hitting a second van parked near the corner, cops said.

    Estevez-Tapia was thrown from his motorcycle, landing on the asphalt, cops said.

    He suffered massive injuries to his head and body and died at Harlem Hospital.

    Estevez-Tapia lived in the Bronx, about two miles from where the crash occurred.

    Cops were investigating Saturday.
