Deputies look to identify suspect vehicle involved in Manitowoc County hit-and-run
FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Manitowoc County are looking to identify a suspect vehicle allegedly involved in a hit-and-run from Friday. According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle, pictured below, was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash of an occupied vehicle on I-43, south of Exit 157, in Francis Creek on June 14 around 11 a.m.

Air quality alert issued
From the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources via the National Weather Service:. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Ozone which will remain in effect until 11:00 PM CDT tonight (Sunday). This advisory affects people living in the following counties: Door, Kenosha, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan. Due to hot temperatures, sufficient sunshine, and southerly winds, the air quality index is expected to reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level. People with lung disease (such as asthma), children, older adults, and people who are active outdoors (including outdoor workers) should reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.
