    MANITOWOC – It's back.

    The Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival returns to Manitowoc this weekend for its second year. It'll be at the beach at Red Arrow Park, 1931 S. Ninth St.

    The hottest event of the summer returns to Red Arrow Beach this weekend, July 19-21.

    The second annual Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival will feature semi-professional sand sculptors, lessons, amateur contests, speed sculpting shows, vendors, food and beverages, and other family-friendly activities.

    July 21, vote for your favorite sculpture and don’t miss the award ceremony where the Wisconsin Sand Sculpting state champion will be crowned.

    Celebrate 'Makili' at the Rahr-West

    Join the Rahr-West Art Museum, 610 N. Eighth St., in horsing around its new outdoor sculpture, “Makili,” by Deborah Butterfield.

    Food trucks, drinks and live music will all be on the museum’s front lawn by the horse-shaped sculpture starting at 5 p.m. July 18.

    Night Market 920

    After a rainy but successful first occurrence in June, Night Market 920 returns again to downtown Manitowoc along the riverfront for a fun-filled summer night.

    From 5 to 9:30 p.m. July 17, enjoy food trucks, vendors, bounce houses and more while jamming out with live music by Smoke Road.

    The event is held in the Farmers' Market Lot at 720 Quay St. It supports Grow It Forward’s mission of providing healthy food to those who need it. Details can be found at https://www.facebook.com/nightmarket920.

    SS Badger Shoreline Cruise

    See Wisconsin’s beautiful shoreline like never before! Take the S.S. Badger Lake Michigan Carferry’s Shoreline Cruise July 20.

    The ship will take guests on a sail north of Manitowoc and back from 2 to 4 p.m.

    Aside from the views, there will be plenty of fun on the oversized boat, including live entertainment, a movie theater, gift shop, museum and bar service.
