    16 Strike Force bowlers qualify to compete at MSHSL State Tournament

    Wednesday morning, bowlers from the Southern Minnesota region descended on Mankato’s Wow! Zone to compete for a chance to qualify for the MSHSL State Championship. Combining singles and doubles qualifiers across the three categories of competition, ASD (autism spectrum disorder), CI (cognitive impairment) and PI (physical impairment), the St. Peter/Le Sueur-Henderson Strike force team will be sending 16 bowlers to the State Championships.

    The state tournament will be held Friday, May 10, at the Brooklyn Park Bowlero. Singles begins at 9 a.m. before doubles start at 12:15 p.m.

    In the PI division, Kallie Brovold, Angela Molina, Judd Wartman, Paul Warzecha, Cooper Johnston and Lucas Henz all qualified to compete in the singles as well as doubles competition.

    As for the CI division, Abby Voeltz, Jayda Marroquin and Ryleigh Sullivan qualified for the singles competition with Hanie Sirovy and Abby Schily joining Voeltz and Marroquin for doubles.

    The ASD qualifiers for singles included Ashlee Miller, Caleb Westphal and Connor Mugaas with Caden Pugh, Peyton Attenberger and Chesney Freeman joining the trio for doubles.
