37-year-old woman dead after Creek County crash

CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a 37-year-old woman has died after a single-vehicle crash five miles south of Mannford in Creek County on Sunday.

The 34-year-old driver was not injured in the crash, but OHP said the driver was driving under the influence.

The 37-year-old woman has not been identified by OHP, but she was the only passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

OHP said the passenger was ejected from the vehicle and seatbelts were not in use by the passenger or the driver.

The passenger was flown to a Tulsa hospital where she later died the next morning.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
