As we start off the WVIHF Friday, most locations should stay dry. Isolated mountain storms for the afternoon and evening. Most lowland locations should stay dry, but a storm may move through one or two places as we approach kickoff of high school football. The Mountaineers open the 2024 season in Morgantown on Saturday. Day 2 of the festival in Clarksburg is also going on. Look for a few showers in NCWV for Saturday morning and early afternoon before numerous showers and storms roll through for the late afternoon and evening.
