Lake City crash kills Wellborn woman, injures 1
A 66-year-old Wellborn woman died and a 41-year-old Lake City man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Lake City on Thursday afternoon. According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 66-year-old Wellborn woman driving a sedan was driving westbound on Baya Drive east of Lochlynn Terrace at 3:25 p.m. when she drifted over the centerline and struck a 41-year-old Lake City man driving a pickup eastbound head-on.
