Jarek Ringler tabbed with first team All-District 9 honors in Division III

MANSFIELD — Whenever Jarek Ringler took to the diamond, special things happened.

The senior pitcher/shortstop was one of the best two-way players in Richland County hitting .481 with 39 hits, 36 runs scored, 12 RBIs and 25 stolen bases. On the mound, Ringler went 7-1 with a 1.15 earned run average. He tosses six complete games and had three shutout victories with a no-hitter piling up 93 strikeouts in 54 ⅔ innings of work.

It made him stand out when District 9 coaches were looking at the list of players in Division III as he was the lone Richland County player tabbed with first-team honors.

He was joined on the list by three other teammates as Brennan Fulk was a second-team selection and Gavin Barker and Tyson Ringler were honorable mentions.
