A rib-lovers delight in Downtown Mansfield this weekend

Rib lovers are invited to the square in Downtown Mansfield this weekend for the Rock-N-Ribs. It kicks off at 11 a.m. Friday and runs through Sunday. The entry fee is $5 per person

Organizers say this year there will be three national cookers: Mojo’s; Cowboy BBQ; and Smokin T’s BBQ. There will also be French fries, funnel cakes, ice cream and lemonade.

Local entertainment will include Connie & Friends at 6:30 p.m. Friday and the Jimmy Vincent Band at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, plus more entertainment at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Proceeds from Rock-N-Ribs will benefit North Central State College's Culinary Scholarship Fund, providing students a pathway post-graduation to continue their culinary business career.

This event is sponsored by DLX, Gravity Ohio, Phillips Family Foundation, Charter Next Generation Films, WMFD-TV and North Central State College.
