    Ohio High School Athletic Association Early Season Invite

    The OHSAA hosted its early season invite on Saturday at Fortress Obetz in Columbus.

    The Lexington Minutemen boys team took first overall as a team thanks to some dominating performances from Chance Basilone (2nd, 16:09.98), Latrell Hughes (5th, 16:47.75), Gage Devaney (21st, 17:24.69), Drew Hooper (24th, 17:29.23), Lincoln Rice (36th, 17:45.35), Luke Haring (45th, 18:03.16), Finnegan Devaney (93rd, 18:54.48), Carson Saurers, 103rd, 19:05.37) and Will Hooper (208th, 20:52.12).

    Ontario also competed well as Dean Morrison (15th, 17:12.14), Xavier Trent (34th, 17:41.87), Rylan Baker (80th, 18:46.46), Ashton Drozda (121st, 19:22.42), Remington Schroeder (179th, 20:28.41), Jake Seymour (181st, 20:30.72) and Liam Hershbeger (204th, 20:47.51) all represented the Warriors well.

    Mansfield Christian was represented by David Delorenzo (105th, 19:07.40), Landin Cyphers (120th, 19:20.65), Nicholas Adams (233rd, 21:20.61), Isaac Delp (263rd, 22:03.75) and Caleb Miller (283rd, 22:27.64).

    The Lexington Lady Lex took third as a team behind solid performances from Katya Prykhodko (17th, 20:42.01), Jenna Halfhill (34th, 21:25.03), Brynn Bruner (57th, 22:31.03), Hallie Durbin (59th, 22:36.40), Jacie Foster (98th, 24:13.86), Abby Moeglin (120th, 24:47.94), Emma Caldwell (146th, 25:25.55) and Evalynn Adkins (150th, 25:29.15).

    Ontario also competed well as Kenzie Goodlin (58th, 22:34.62), Ava Zehe (66th, 23:03.44), Eliana Fittante (89th, 24:01.81), Zoe Hampton (204th, 27:37.69) and Journey Ross (210th, 27:53.94) represented the Warriors well.

    Mansfield Christian's Riley Patrick (2nd, 20:29.83) and Meagan Them (3rd, 20:47.04) ran in the Division II and III Open race and represented the Flames extremely well.
