    MANSFIELD — It is time to make your vote count.

    Here are the Week 7 nominees for Mansfield News Journal Football Player of the Week.

    BEST OF THE BEST: NJ's Top Performers List: Tournament time underway for golf and tennis, teams prepping for postseason

    -Shelby’s Brayden DeVito completed 17-of-21 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 126 yards on 11 carries with five scores accounting for seven TDs in a 55-21 win over River Valley.

    -Shelby’s Marcus Gumbert had 130 yards rushing on 18 carries in a 55-21 win over River Valley.

    -Shelby’s Nic Eyster caught seven passes for 92 yards in a 55-21 win over River Valley.

    -Shelby’s Sam Gwirtz had 10 tackles, three sacks and three tackles for loss in a 55-21 win over River Valley.

    -Ontario’s Bodpegn Miller completed 21-of-28 passes for 274 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 169 yards on 13 carries with two more scores in a 35-14 win over Pleasant.

    -Ontario’s Landon Foltz caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 35-14 win over Pleasant.

    -Ontario’s Jon Mahon caught five passes for 93 yards and a touchdown in a 35-14 win over Pleasant.

    -Ontario’s Landon Sowards had 12 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack and a forced fumble in a 35-14 win over Pleasant.

    -Lexington’s Joe Caudill completed 13-of-22 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns while running for 20 yards on 11 carries and a score in a 19-16 win over West Holmes.

    -Lexington’s Seven Allen caught three passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns in a 19-16 win over West Holmes.

    -Crestview’s Ayden Reymer ran for 91 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns in a 34-0 win over Plymouth.

    Crestview’s Gavin Barker ran for 46 yards on six carries with a TD and recorded an interception on defense to go along with four tackles.

    -The Clear Fork defense held Harding to just four rushing yards on 23 carries during a 14-13 win over Harding.

    -Clear Fork’s Marcus Hoeflich completed seven passes for 99 yards and a touchdown in a 14-13 win over Harding.

    Clear Fork’s Porter Schmidt had 40 yards rushing with a TD in a 14-13 win over Harding.
