Appellants appealed correspondence from the Taxpayer Rights Advocate Office of the Commissioner (TRA) denying their request for reconsideration of an Offer in Compromise that the Collection Division of the Minnesota Department of Revenue previously denied. The Commissioner moved to dismiss appeal on the grounds that decisions of the TRA to issue or not to issue a taxpayer assistance order are final and not appealable to any court, including the tax court, under Minn. Stat. § 270C.37, subd. 6. The Tax Court agreed that the TRA decision was not appealable. Motion granted.

As part of a series of nationwide cycling events, the Wounded Warrior Project aims to help veterans restore their physical and emotional well-being while fostering community connections. Minnesota man arrested in North Iowa for having 100 grams of meth
CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – Law enforcement says a Minnesota motorcyclist was caught with over 100 grams of methamphetamine in North Iowa. Bradley Lee Winters, 57 of Owatonna, MN, is accused of a class “B” felony drug violation, first-degree harassment, assault on persons in certain occupations, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, and failure to use a drug tax stamp.

Todd Aaron Howard Sutton, 33 of Mason City, was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail Saturday for a class “B” felony drug violation, possession of contraband in a correctional institution, and driving while barred.
