Shreveport community gets FREE gas with funky moves
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Cares Krewe is back at it again and decided to keep up the smiles, laughter, and dancing one gas pump at a time. The KTAL NBC 6 and KMSS FOX 33 Cares Krewe headed to a local Walmart fuel stop, using dance moves, gas-pumping arms, and high-energy music to stop customers in their vehicles.
Dangerous hospital patient escaped from Longleaf
ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) – On Friday, August 23, 2024, at approximately 6:15 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to 44 Versailles Blvd., Longleaf Hospital in reference to a patient escaping. 21-year-old Styln Wise escaped from the hospital and was last seen in the area of Versailles Blvd. Wise should be considered dangerous and it is unknown if he has armed himself. Residents are urged to avoid contact with Wise and to notify the Alexandria Police Department if spotted.

SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas (KTRE) - Denning Rural Water System has issued a boil water notice for all of its customers after an equipment malfunction at their plant. All customers should boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.).
