    Team or Family Opportunity! During the summer season, the Marathon County Hunger Coalition collects nearly 500 pounds of donated produce each week from the farmers market. We need volunteers to help sort these fresh vegetables and get them ready for market shoppers at The Neighbors’ Place. Monday mornings, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. Ideal for groups of 3-5.     Reliable Volunteers Needed! The Hmong American Center seeks admission volunteers for the Hmong Wausau Festival on July 27 and 28 at the Peoples Sports Complex, 602 E. Kent St., Wausau. Ages 15+. Use the following link to sign up for a shift: https://forms.gle/fvnXxbWB9SYibgYi6.

    Office Help Needed! Interim Hospice seeks a volunteer to them help keep files in order and maintain good communication with doctors and facilities. Contact volunteer coordinator, Maya, at 715-842-7707 or [email protected] to join the team!

    Are You A People Person? Faith in Action Marathon County assists seniors in Marathon County in staying safely in their own homes by providing transportation, food delivery and friendly visits. FIAMC seeks intake volunteers to complete phone or in-person home visits with potential clients to assess whether they are a good fit for the program.     Help Provide A Family With A New Home! Habitat for Humanity construction volunteers work on homes on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. – noon all summer long. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and lend a hand. Contact volunteer coordinator, Kelsey, at [email protected] to get involved!

    Hygiene Items Needed! The Neighbors’ Place seeks hygiene and household cleaning products. Groups interested in initiating and planning a drive for donations are also welcome. For further information, contact Elizabeth at 715-845-1966.

    Cleaning and Personal Items Needed! The Women’s Community seeks toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, laundry detergent and new women’s sports bras (sizes XS-4X). Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 3220 Hilltop Ave. in Wausau. Contact Allie with any questions at [email protected] or 715-842-5663.
