Find More Donation + Volunteer Opportunities! Go to the United Way Volunteer Connection volunteer website at unitedwaymc.galaxydigital.com.

Volunteer From Your Workplace! We can help relieve a financial burden from households across Marathon County by organizing and providing for people’s basic needs – including adult and children’s hygiene items, snack packs, winter care kits, welcome home kits, and calm kits. Learn how to get started at unitedwaymc.org/volunteer.

Do You Have A Passion For Mental Health? The American Red Cross seeks volunteers to join their Disaster Mental Health Team. DMH volunteers provide compassionate care to victims and fellow Red Cross volunteers following disasters. Whether it’s providing coping and recovery tips or lending a listening ear, DMH volunteers help people on what’s often the worst day of their lives. Contact Lee at [email protected] for more information.

Fairgrounds Volunteers Needed! North Central Health Care is looking for friendly people to help Mount View Care Center residents visit the Wisconsin Valley Fair, July 31–Aug. 2. Transportation, a $5 meal stipend, and free entrance to the fair (with a wristband that can be used again later that day) will be provided. Ages 13+, must be able to push a wheelchair. Contact volunteer services at 715-848-4450 or [email protected] to be part of this experience.

Looking For A Rewarding Experience? Interim Hospice volunteers help maximize quality of life when quantity of life is limited. There are many ways to provide support to patients near the end of life, such as visiting with them and sharing their favorite activities, as well as running errands and providing respite to families and caregivers. Call Maya at 715-842-7707, extension 2711, to talk more about how you can help.

Reliable Volunteers Needed! The Hmong American Center seeks admission volunteers for the Hmong Wausau Festival on July 27 and 28 at the Peoples Sports Complex, 602 E. Kent St., Wausau. Ages 15+. Use the following link to sign up for a shift: https://forms.gle/fvnXxbWB9SYibgYi6.
