State Fair Of Texas Is Back: Here’s All The New Top Food

DALLAS (KDAF) — The State Fair of Texas has announced this year’s judges who will serve as taste-testers for the iconic Big Tex Choice Awards. Brad Batson, Leslie Brenner, Calvin Golden, Donovan Lewis, and Nikky Phinyawatana will be the judges to determine this year’s “Best Taste – Savory,” “Best Taste – Sweet,” and “Most Creative” on August 22.

J.C. Penney to permanently close 4 stores
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Department store retailer J.C. Penney will shutter four stores across as many states, Retail Dive has reported. According to an email provided by the company, locations in Alabama, Texas and Maine will close before Sept. 22. The J.C. Penney at the Westfield Annapolis Mall in Annapolis, Maryland, will close in 2025.
