FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WBRC) - The Carver Jones Market is now open in Fairfield, bringing a new grocery store to the area. Prior to the market’s opening, owners said “100% of Fairfield — 3,400 households — have zero acceptable access to ‘good’ and fresh food, which leads to hunger, poor health, higher food prices, and increased morbidity.”
