Blake Sims Almost Got Pulled From His First SEC Start in Which He Threw for 445 Yards Because His Wristband Was Wrong and Nick Saban Thought He Was Going Rogue
Blake Sims's one season of college football glory was almost halted before it even started because of a very unfortunate clerical error on someone's part. I honestly can't believe something like this was able to happen at Alabama under Nick Saban's watch. It sounds like whoever was responsible for the miscommunication between the call sheets and wristbands was never discovered, but I'd guess it's more likely that person actually was found out and then mysteriously disappeared. You don't have a fuck up like that and have Saban just never find out who was responsible for it.

The 2024 Alabama football schedule has plenty of challenge. A successful season will likely come down to winning a few close contests. Close contests often come down to which team wins the kicking game. In that game component, the Crimson Tide has an advantage over the rest of the SEC.

Right in the Middle of Things: Centreville Field Office
Centreville, Ala. – It’s a fresh start of the Centreville Field Office in Bibb County, which recently moved from Market Street to 1055 Birmingham Road right off U.S. Highway 82, the main bypass through the town and neighboring Brent. With the move, the newer, more functional building was better able to match pace with an already talented staff. “This is a great upgrade for them,” said District 3A Manager Lamanda Thomas, praising the office camaraderie, organizational skills, and team atmosphere.
Alabama vs Georgia in Bryant-Denny is ESPN’s Game of the Year
ESPN’s Bill Connelly released his top five SEC games of the regular season over the weekend, and it’s no surprise that Alabama was prevalent throughout his list. This top five was largely generated by each team's SP+ ranking, meaning the games weren't necessarily handpicked by Connelly. The presumably...
