Firefighters rescue child from tree
HIBBING—Firefighters from the Hibbing Fire Department rescued a child from a tree on Tuesday in Hibbing. Hibbing firefighters were dispatched to a report of a child stuck in a tree, at the Birch Court Apartments located in the 600 block of East 40th Street, according to a Facebook post by the Friends of the Northland FireWire. Firefighters used a ground ladder to rescue “the adventurous boy, who simply climbed down the ladder, with assistance, to the ground, according to the report.” No injuries were reported. The age of the child was not included in the report.
