​Lillie Pearl is a place to celebrate food, spirits, friends, and family. The owners pride themselves on impeccable service, gracious hospitality, memorable guest experience, and delicious food.

Owner/Chef Michael Lindsey uses West African heirloom ingredients and his North Carolina roots of Southern African American Cuisine as an ideal blend to provide delicious dishes to his many customers.

Significance of the name of the restaurant

The restaurant's name pays homage to all of Chef Mike Lindsey’s grandparents. Grandma Hattie and Grandpa Dave are represented by the shade tree in the logo. The tree has significant meaning because the family often sat under it to pick peas, shuck corn, eat watermelon, fellowship, and listen to stories.

Grandpa Dan is represented by the food. He was a hunter and farmer. He grew, raised, and hunted for most of the family’s food. He displayed the true example of farm-to-table as a way of life.

Grandma Lillie Pearl is represented by her cooking and hospitality. Everyone always left her house full and happy.

Lillie Pearl offers lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Their favorite dishes include smoked chicken wings, fried chicken, ribs, crab cakes, salmon, pork chops, salads, sandwiches, sides, and desserts. From the bar, there are cocktails, wines, and beers.
