The Midwest drive-thru coffee franchise Scooter’s Coffee is not in Virginia yet, but that will change.

According to WRIC 8 News, the franchise Scooter’s Coffee is opening its first Virginia location in Richmond.

Scooter’s Coffee features specialty items such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended drinks, fruit smoothies, hot and iced teas, a breakfast menu, a kids' menu, sandwiches, and pastries baked from scratch.

The name fits well with Scooter's mission to keep customers happy by helping them “scoot in and scoot out” quickly on their way to work or school.

Ryan Kim, a 20-year resident of Richmond, has signed a franchise agreement to open a Scooter’s Coffee in the Short Pump area of Richmond, Virginia.

Kim said:
