My birthday is on Tuesday, July 23. Every year when my family asks me where I want to celebrate my birthday, I'll always say, "Maggiano's Little Italy."

Maggiano's Little Italy, located in the Short Pump Town Center at 11800 W Broad Street, #2204, Richmond, VA 23233, is one of my favorite places to eat out. It is a casual dining restaurant chain specializing in Italian-American cuisine.

My favorite is the family-style menu for a party of four or more. That means everyone at the table has to order the same items that would be on the table just at home.

The party selects three courses of their favorite Maggiano's items. The first course includes five different salads and 16 appetizer choices.

The main course includes four selections from 13 different types of pasta, five entrees, and two selections from seven desserts. Everybody doesn't have to choose the same beverage.

At the end of the dining experience, Maggiano's servers bring out enough containers for each person to take home leftovers. It is enough for everyone to have enough food for another day.
