O’Toole’s Restaurant & Pub opened on Forest Hill Avenue in Richmond in 1966, receiving Virginia’s first by-the-drink liquor licenses, a novelty for the Commonwealth. It’s been providing good food, drinks, music, and good times ever since.

O’Toole opened its second restaurant in Midlothian in October 2019, offering the same food, drinks, and music as the first family-owned establishment in Richmond.

John and Tom O'Toole own and operate the restaurants with strong Irish roots. O'Toole is well-known for serving pub food, including bar snacks, salads, and comfort food.
