    WTVR 6 News reported an update on the missing 101-year-old woman from Dinwiddie County who was last seen on Thursday has been found dead on Saturday in a soybean field.

    According to the Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Office deputies, Dorothy Sue Wallace was last seen at 4:20 p.m. near Route 1 and Sturgeon Road in Brunswick County.

    About the incident

    The 101-year-old, who had another woman in her care when she disappeared, had been driving a Honda Odyssey van with Virginia plates UJJ-1500.

    According to Crime Insider sources, the minivan that Wallace had been driving was found in a wooded area near Manson Church Road in McKenney on Saturday after a small aircraft pilot spotted it.

    Wallace was found deceased inside the minivan, but the passenger in her care, identified as Annie Mae Berger, was found alive and transported to a local medical center to be observed and medically cleared. Deputies said foul play is not suspected.
