WRIC 8 News reported that Keanu Reeves was in Richmond, Virginia, for his Dogstar concert on Wednesday night, August 14, 2024. Before his scheduled performance, he had time to stop by Fountain Bookstore, located at 312 E Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23219.

While the 59-year-old Canadian actor and musician was there, he signed copies of his new book, "The Book of Elsewhere," published on July 23, 2024. The science fiction book follows an immortal warrior on a millennia-long journey to understand his immortality.
