Great Falls Park is a nature lovers' paradise that draws them from Metro DC and beyond.

The crown jewel of the Northern Virginia park has cascades that mark the spot where the Potomac River drops 50 feet into Mather Gorge. The falls are popular with experienced kayakers who love the water.

The 800-acre park is also popular for those who love hiking, walking, rock climbing, and photography.
