WRIC 8 News reported that a Virginia doctor warns parents about the dangerous TikTok challenge causing burns after children attempt to eat "Jolly Rancher grapes."

Dr. Michael Feldman with the Evans-Haynes Burn Center at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health said he has seen the challenge go wrong, and at least three children in Virginia have been hospitalized in the last three months with serious burns.

    Dr. Feldman said:

“If the injuries are really deep, they might need surgery, so that has happened with this type of mechanism before. And then we try and manage scars later.”

Dr. Feldman said that children who get burned should visit a verified burn doctor as soon as possible.

Well parents let their kids do anything nowadays. TikTok is pure garbage. Teenagers need to stay off of social media. Social media has destroyed the future of teens. Parents need to monitor the kids, instead of ignoring them. It’s ridiculous!

TikTok is the realm of the idiot. My kids aren't allowed to use it.
