WRIC 8 News reported that Southern Kitchen restaurant's grand opening is at Stony Point Fashion Park in Richmond, Virginia. The grand opening of the newly remodeled restaurant is on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

About Southern Kitchen

The soul food restaurant was founded in 2019 in Richmond’s historic Jackson Ward neighborhood by Owner and Chef Shane Roberts-Thomas. Its new location is 9210 Stony Point Parkway, Richmond, VA 23235, next to P.F. Chang's.

Roberts-Thomas said:

The menu features signature Southern dishes inspired by recipes from family traditions, including shrimp and grits, blackened catfish, fried chicken, fried pork chops, sandwiches, soups, salads, and sides.
