Moore Street Cafe has served breakfast and lunch in the historic Scott's Addition neighborhood since 1999. Amy Quidley and Charlie Hughes bought the restaurant in 2016. Not much has changed since then. The cafe has the same great food for people who visit regularly, tourists in the city, and travelers passing through.

The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Breakfast is served on the other weekdays from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. and on the weekends from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

    Yelp Reviews

There are positive reviews about Moore Street Cafe and its food on Yelp. One reviewer said:

As far as breakfast goes, it's up there with best home style breakfast restaurants. I would compare it to a Waffle House as far as taste. I got the big breakfast that comes with pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and grits. I like a variety. Service was good. Would goback for sure."

Another reviewer echoed a similar thing

"Our server was the best. She was super friendly, explained the special of the day (catfish!), and got us our coffee within seconds. She helped with some menu questions and got our order in, and I kid you not, our meals came out in about 60 seconds. We were floored. She said it was just great timing for our arrival time. I opted for the corn beef hash, two eggs with two pancakes as my bread option, and everything was super delicious. They offered up a homemade hot sauce that wasn't overbearing. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. Everyone working there was very friendly. What a visit!"
