Seattle Pride Parade and Two Pride Fests This Weekend

It’s the largest parade in Washington State and it takes place on Sunday, June 26. The Seattle Pride Parade is celebrating its 48th year and around half a million people are expected to attend.

The parade starts at 11 am at 4th Avenue and Pike Street, and concludes at 3 pm at 2nd Avenue and Denny Way. A non-alcoholic beverage station will be located at 4th and Lenora, while a beer garden is offered at Denny Way and Broad Street at the end of the route. A stage and seating will be set up at 4th and Bell, where free accessible seating will be available.

After the parade the festivities spill onto the grounds of the Seattle Center for PrideFest.

The Seattle Center PrideFest happens on Sunday from noon to 8 pm. There’s no cost to attend and it’s all ages except in the beer gardens. You’ll find booths with vendors, food and community non-profits, and a party all day long all over the grounds of the center.

Three stages will host dozens of musical acts and entertainment. There will be a main stage and two smaller stages at the Mural Amphitheatre and the International Fountain, where impromptu dance parties are known to happen. ASL interpretation will be offered all day for all acts at the main stage.

But even before all that, the Capitol Hill PrideFest takes place on Saturday, June 25 from noon to 8 pm. It’s the biggest event Capitol Hill hosts and it’s also an all-day party and street fair, celebrating the historic neighborhood.

The main stage is at Harrison and Broadway, with a second stage set up at Republican and Broadway, and a stage for families and queer youth being offered at Barbara Bailey Way and Broadway. Also on tap for this festival are beer gardens, and booths with food and offerings from craftspeople and artisans.
