    Street Fairs and Festivals All Over Western Washington in June

    'Tis the season of outdoor entertainment, when better weather draws us out to explore all the fun things our area has to offer. From big, multiple-day festivals to small town, day-long street fairs, there's a reason to visit a different town every weekend in June.

    Westerm Washington is loaded with festivals and celebrations of every variety all summer long, and it kicks off in June. From the ocean to the north, you can find somewhere to go for a fun family day. And if a road trip isn't in your plans, it isn't hard to find something to do closer to home.

    6/1 - 6/4

    Mason County Forest Festival - Shelton

    This popular 79-year-old festival features a parade, carnival, logging show, music, food trucks, car show and fireworks.

    6/2 - 6/3

    Duvall Days - Duvall

    A parade, fun run, car show, carnival, petting zoo, and much more mark the 63rd festival in Duvall. Don't miss the fireworks!

    Waterfront Festival - Anacortes

    Head to the waterfront of Anacortes for free boat rides during this festival that also includes tons of activities for kids, food trucks, music, and more.

    Maritime Gig Festival - Gig Harbor

    There's a lot going on at this festival, from the parade and car show, to the US Coast Guard demonstration and blessing of the fleet. Expect music, food, crafts, and a children's fair.

    Maple Valley Days - Maple Valley

    Held at the Lake Wilderness Park, this festival showcases a parade, carnival, pancake breakfast, food trucks, and live music, among other fun things.

    Indigenous People Festival - Seattle

    Held at the Seattle Center, this festival highlights the food, culture, and arts of native people. Expect music, dance, crafts and performances.

    Meeker Days - Puyallup

    Three days, three stages with music all day, kiddie rides, and plenty of vendors and food just scratches the surface of this long-running and popular festival.

    Strawberry Festival - Burien

    The weekend fun starts at 10 am and features a car show, petting zoo, live music, and local craftspeople.

    Fremont Fair - Seattle

    One of the region's biggest parades - the Fremont Solstice Parade - takes place during this fair, which features hundreds of craftspeople and vendors, live music, beer gardens, art cars, and much more.

    Rusty Scuppers Pirate Daze - Westport

    The Half Moon Bay Pirates invade the town of Westport for loads of family-friendly fun, including music, magic shows, fire dancers and enormous bounce houses, not to mention hordes of pirates taking over the street.

    Rhubarb Days - Sumner

    Did you know that Sumner is the rhubarb pie capitol of the world? You'll never forget after this festival that highlights a pie eating contest, music and beer garden, street fair, and much more.

    Midsommarfest - Kenmore

    This long-running Scandinavian festival offers music, dancing, food, and traditional crafts. Don't miss the raising of the 35-foot Midsommar pole. You're welcome to help.
