Street Fairs and Festivals All Over Western Washington in July

Summer is in full swing and nowhere is that more obvious than in the extensive list of fairs and festivals all over Western Washington. We love a good outdoor celebration and the weather tends to cooperate more often than not in July.
Whether you’re looking for a good reason for a road trip or something fun to do that’s close to home, this list has you covered. The hardest part will be picking and choosing. There’s a lot going on at the same time.
7/8 – 7/9
TheWedgwood Art Festival livens up a quiet neighborhood in Seattle every summer with food, music, a bookstore on wheels, a fire truck on hand for kids to explore, and lots of local artists and artisans.
7/12 – 7/16
The state capital in Olympia hosts the Capital Lakefair every third weekend in July, and it’s a huge celebration. The Grand Parade takes place on Saturday, and the car show runs on Friday. There’s everything you would expect at a street fair, plus a carnival and fireworks.
7/13 – 7/16
The great big King County Fair takes place in Enumclaw and is loaded with events, in addition to standard fair attractions. There’s a rodeo and barrel racing, livestock show, music, and a carnival, among many other things.
7/14 – 7/15
Derby Days in Redmond hosts a drone light show, bicycle races, parades, a cornhole tournament and the Urban Craft Uprising marketplace, among many other things.

Take a ferry to Vashon Island for the classic Vashon Strawberry Festival. There’s a parade on Saturday and a classic car parade on Sunday, two zones for kids and tons of music, art, and food.

The Ballard SeafoodFest is a celebration of Ballard’s historic connection to seafood, and features a salmon BBQ, beer garden, skateboarding events, and activities for little ones.

Kent Cornucopia Days is 50 years old, and celebrating with a street fair, parade and dragon boat race, among other fun things.

Taking place at the Seattle Center, Festival Sundiata presents Black Arts Fest, a celebration of African American heritage. You’ll find food, entertainment, and much more.

TheNorth Bend Block Partyis free and held downtown. It includes music, an area for kids, food, and fun.

SummerFEST 2023in Lakewood has all the standard festival fun, with some cool additions, like a drone show, car show, pop-up skate park and fire dancers.

The Mill Creek Festival and Street Fairoffers free parking and a free shuttle to the festivities that include food and artist booths, live music and a beer garden.

There’s a summer block party in Everett called Salty Sea Days that takes over the heart of downtown with fun and family-friendly activities.

There are a number of unique events during Renton River Days, including a drone show, ducky derby, and a poker & pub crawl. The celebration also features a parade.

Sir-Mix-A-Lot headlines the Bite of Seattle at the Seattle Center this year. Over 200 hundred food vendors and dozens of bands

It’s all about the art, music, and the beach at the Alki Art Fair that takes place along the promenade at Alki Beach in Seattle.

Taking place on closed streets in Tacoma, Art on the Ave happens on a Sunday and includes local artists, food and music.

The 77 year old Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fairis the biggest arts & crafts festival in the PNW. Hundreds of artists and vendors, a kids fair, music and food trucks are some of the attractions.
