Experience classic car heaven at these 3 upcoming shows

    2023-08-19

While there are some really beautiful modern cars, nothing beats a lovingly restored and maintained vintage vehicle. We love them, and nothing makes heads swivel faster than seeing one driving down the road. Next weekend you can see many of them at any one of three classic car shows that are taking place.

Wheels on the Waterfront – Saturday, August 26th

Taking place in Everett, this annual car show will feature nearly 300 antique and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles at Boxcar Park on the waterfront. It’s free to attend, but parking costs $5. There will be music, food, and a raffle, but the thing that sets this show apart is that all proceeds go to support the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership. Don’t miss the silent auction for a 1970 GMC truck that needs restoration and comes with many of the parts needed to make that happen.

LeMay Annual Show – Saturday, August 26th

This is the 45th year for the LeMay show in Tacoma, and you’ll find hundreds of classic cars on display. You can also bring your own. There are two locations for the show. It’s free to visit the cars on the Marymount Academy property, and you can pay $15 to view the vehicles in the LeMay Private Garage. There will be a car auction and displays of other kinds of vintage and collectible items.

CARSTAR Hi-Tech Collision Classic Car & Truck Show – Sunday, August 27th

This show is being held in Spanaway for the 20th year and you’re invited to vote on your favorite classic vehicle. This family-friendly events is happening in Spanaway Park from 8am to 3 pm, and there will be food trucks on hand.
