How to Plan a Wedding with the Seattle Wedding Show

Once a year, every service you could possibly need to plan a wedding gathers under the roof of the Seattle Convention Center for one-stop shopping and a convenient way to compare services from multiple vendors. You can attend a fashion show and find the perfect gown, among many other things at the Seattle Wedding Show.

Bring a wedding planning journal or look book, gather business cards, take pictures, talk to everyone, and write copious notes. There’s a lot to cover here.

Vendors cover everything from catering, photography, and flowers, to transportation and DJs. If you’re on a budget or the do-it-yourself type, you’ll find plenty of decoration and supplies vendors. Officiants and videographers will be on hand, as well as companies offering unique services. Want a live painter at your wedding? A wedding song written just for you? A livestream of the wedding? The show takes place the weekend of January 27 – 28, from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10:30 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door (but no cash sales). If you sign u online for the Wedding Discount Club you can get $4 off your ticket.

Fashion shows take place at 12 and 3 on Saturday and 1:30 on Sunday. There will be a gown sale on Saturday from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and there will be plenty of room to try on gowns and let your family and friends share the experience.
