Get Wild at the Pacific Northwest Reptile & Exotic Animal Show

    2024-01-15

Not everyone’s pets are the furry and cuddly kind. And while you can find furry friends at the Pacific Northwest Reptile & Exotic Animal Show, they won’t be cats and dogs.

Instead, you’ll find dozens of vendors offering up every kind of exotic animal you can think of. The ones that are legal to own, that is. Snakes, spiders, turtles, geckos, frogs, lizards – you’ll find those and many other things. Have you always been curious about keeping an iguana? Here’s your chance to learn more.

The show will include lots of educational exhibits and vendors are happy to share what they know. You can learn about volunteering with a rescue organization and shop for the best supplies for exotic pets.

In addition to the obvious animals and animal related goods and services, you’ll also find a selection of exotic and tropical plants for sale.

The show takes place January 27-28 at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.

Tickets are $15 for single day general admission and $40 for a 2-day VIP experience that includes big discounts at most vendors.

I wonder if they'll address the importance of spaying and neutering at the show. Even exotic pets need responsible family planning!

Who needs a treadmill when you can chase a runaway iguana around the house, right? Looking forward to picking up some exotic pet care tips this weekend!
