Kids Free at Northwest Trek on Weekends in February

Keeping kids entertained on weekends can be challenging and expensive. Northwest Trek in Eatonville has an answer for that. Every weekend in February two kids 12 and under can get in for free with one paid adult admission. Adult tickets cost $25 at the front gate. You can’t use the discounted online tickets for this promotion.

The Kids ‘n Critters weekends include full access to the walking paths where you can see wolves, bobcats, bears, eagles, and owls, among many other animals. Take the kids to play in Kids’ Trek, where rope nets, tunnels, slides, and logs abound. If the weather gets too wet, head inside to the Cheney Discovery Center, where kids can meet small animals, like northern leopard frogs, a gopher snake, and newts. There are puzzles and games in the center and naturalists are on hand to answer questions. There’s enough to see and do to spend a whole day here.

The park is open from 9:30 am to 3 pm. The electric tram is currently out of commission.
