Several things are going on at the Alki Winter Beer & Food Truck Festival being held on Saturday February 24th. A beer garden, food trucks, DJs spinning tunes, and a Polar Plunge make it a full day of fun.

You’ll find the beer garden at the Alki Beach Bathhouse, located at 2701 Alki Ave SW. Strictly 21+, it has an indoor area and a heated tent. $20 tickets get you 4 drink tokens with non-alcoholic options available. $35 tickets come with a cup and 10 drink tokens. 10 different breweries will be offering tastings.

The food trucks festival is put on by Mobile Food Rodeo and is open to everyone. 10 different food trucks will be there representing a variety of cuisines, including Thai food, the Off The Rez truck, and a truck specializing in Alaskan scallops.

If you aren’t participating in this year’s Polar Plunge, you can watch and cheer the madness from the shores of Alki Beach. The plunge benefits Special Olympics of Washington and starts at 1 pm.

The food trucks start serving at 10 am, when the entertainment begins. The beer festival opens at 11 am, and there’s a costume contest at noon. The festival closes at 4 pm.
