Kick Off Festival & Fair Season With the Puyallup Spring Fair

For two weekends in April you can enjoy all the fun a big fair has to offer without waiting for the big one in the fall. The Spring Fair in Puyallup has nearly as much going on and makes a great family outing. In fact, I enjoy it a little more because the crowds aren't quite as big.

Held from Thursday through Sunday on 4/11-4/14 and 4/18-4/21, there’s a lot to take in. Check the website for daily hours.

All of your favorite fair staples, like all the carnival rides, Fisher scones, animals in the farm section, and musical entertainment will all be available. I'll be standing in line for elephant ears. Special events include an interactive dinosaur exhibit with fossil digging areas and large animatronic dinosaurs, Monster Truck rides for kids, along with Monster Truck shows, racing pigs, a BBQ competition, and art shows. That just scratches the surface.

Tickets are available online or at the gate. As per usual, rides and special events cost extra.
