If you haven’t decided what to do this weekend and are looking for last minute plans, you have a number of choices.

The Torchlight Parade, a hometown favorite and one of the signature events of our Seafair summer, is taking place tonight. Running along 4th Ave. from the Seattle Center to Seneca St. in downtown Seattle, this huge parade has everything. Floats, drill teams, horses, marching bands, pirates, princesses, and much more. The parade starts at 3 pm and runs for roughly 3 hours.

Parking is free at the Amazon parking garages at 6th & Blanchard, and 6th and Virginia. Get there early to take advantage of that and to nab a prime viewing spot.

If the parade isn’t your thing, there are all sorts of festivals happening all weekend.

Head to Enumclaw for a big celebration of all things Scottish with the Pacific NW Scottish Highland Games & Clan Gathering

Renton River Days takes over Liberty Park and the Cedar River Park for tons of family fun.

Tacoma is hosting MOSAIC, an arts and culture festival, in Wright Park.

The Timber! Outdoor Music Festival in Carnation has a big lineup of music and outdoor activities. This is a family friendly festival.

Pista sa Nayon is a Filipino festival being held in Seward Park in Seattle.

The Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair is a big and popular arts & crafts festival.

The Seattle Arab Festival takes place at the Seattle Center.

Ananda Mela is a festival of India with tons of food and activities, happening in Redmond.
