Seafair is over but it’s still festival and fair season. With good weather forecast for the weekend, it’s perfect for getting out of the house. There are several festivals happening around the region, covering a range of interests, from food and crafts to a logging show.

The Morton Loggers Jubilee has already started and runs through Sunday the 11th. The parade takes place on Saturday at 11:30 am, and the logging show and competition happens all weekend. This 81 year old show is not to be missed.

On Saturday. August 10th, head to Woodinville for the Celebrate Woodinville Festival, that includes a pancake breakfast, parade, basset hound show, music, food, cars and more.

Glass Fest Northwest takes place in Tacoma on Saturday on the grounds of the renowned Museum of Glass. Watch glass being made, and enjoy music, food and activities. Admission to the museum is free during the festival.

Taste Edmonds is all about the food and music, and takes place all weekend. Be aware that there’s an admission fee.

The Festival at Mt. Si is a fun community festival in North Bend that features a parade, pie eating contest, chili cook off, beer garden, lots of live music, food trucks, bouncy houses, and fireworks on Saturday night. This is a great one for families.

Head over to Whidbey Island for the Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival, which has been going strong for 60 years. This is where you can always find the best local artisans and craftspeople, and the best views. Happening all weekend.
