The 2024 Auglaize County Junior Fair King and Queen crowned
WAPAKONETA, OH (WLIO) - New royalty has been coronated Monday night at the Auglaize County Fair in Wapakoneta! Braiden Lee was crowned the 2024 Auglaize County Junior Fair King, while Chloe Pax was honored as the Auglaize County Junior Fair Queen. Over the years, the king and queen have been involved with the Auglaize County Junior Fair Board. Braiden has shown chickens, ducks, goats, and feeder cows, while Chloe has shown rabbits and goats in addition to completing nutrition and special interest projects. Following the coronation, we talked with the new king and queen about what it means to receive the crown.
UNITED WAY DAY OF ACTION
Thank you to the United Way and the Sidney Parks and Recreation Department for organizing the 2024 Day of Action projects! Their collective efforts have made a significant impact on our community. Volunteers from these organizations dedicated their time and resources to various initiatives, including park clean-ups and community garden projects. Their hard work and commitment to service have not only improved our public spaces but also fostered a sense of unity and cooperation among residents.
