It Could Be Gospel To ‘Z-Rock’ For Little Rock, As Salem Sells Again.
For the second time this month, Salem Media Group has moved to sell one of its Little Rock, AR stations. This time, it is gospel “Rejoice 1380” KZTS and its two FM translators that are poised to end up in the hands of a new owner. Investment banker John C. Stephens has filed a $700,000 deal with the Federal Communications Commission to buy the stations. As part of the deal, Salem will receive a $50,000 advertising credit to be used by December 2026.

King Wins Miss Boomtown Crown, Heads to Miss Arkansas
EL DORADO - Alli Beth King was crowned Miss Boomtown 2025 Saturday, Aug. 24, in El Dorado, Arkansas. Miss Boomtown is a preliminary for the Miss Arkansas pageant to be held at Robinson Auditorium in June 2025. This will be King's third time to compete in Miss Arkansas. She held the title of Miss Arkansas Tech University in 2022 and Miss Southeast Arkansas in 2023. King's CSI (Community Service Initiative) is 'It Starts With One.' She is a 2020 graduate of Rison High School and a 2024 graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Psychology.
