Maricopa County Animal Care & Control Holds Night Howls Extended Hours Adoption Event
Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) is inviting Maricopa County residents to visit their shelters after hours on July 24th and 31st to adopt a new furry friend during their Night Howls adoption event. Both its West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Avenue and its East shelter at 1920 S. Lewis will be open until 8p.m. for adoptions only.

Man sentenced to 25 years in prison for murdering girlfriend then fleeing Arizona
A man convicted of murdering his girlfriend after fatally shooting her in 2021 was sentenced to 25 years in prison, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
